If you thought last week was an awesome week for "Dark Knight Rises" news, you haven't seen anything yet.
The six-minute prologue is set to premiere in front of select "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" IMAX showings this coming Friday — even sooner for those of you lucky enough to win one of those Operation Early Bird screenings — and ahead of that debut, we've got a brand new "Dark Knight Rises" poster to obsess over… and believe me, it's definitely obsession-worthy.

"The legend ends," the poster warns with both words and actions. The rain is pouring down, Bane walks off in the distance, and the Caped Crusader's iconic cowl lies shattered in the foreground. Either Bruce and Alfred have been ordering cheap materials for the Bat-mask again, or our hero is in for a very rough time in his final Christopher Nolan-directed outing. I don't think there's a single fan out there who hasn't considered the very real possibility that Tom Hardy's back-breaker would actually follow through on the threat of breaking the Bat, and this poster only pushes those fears further along.
Starring Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine and more, "The Dark Knight Rises" hits theaters on July 22, 2012. Click here to find out more about the "Dark Knight Rises" prologue hitting this week.
