'Man Of Steel': Amy Adams Is A Redheaded Lois Lane!

Amy AdamsToday, in Candid Images of Actors on the Set of Superhero Movies, we present to you... Amy Adams as Lois Lane in “Man of Steel.” There’s no costume to nitpick to death here, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still scrutinize, as the actress appears to be retaining her trademark strawberry blonde locks.

The photos themselves can be found over at Superhero Hype and reveal Adams portraying the traditionally brunette reporter as a redhead. A scene of Lois at a gas station shows that the actress won’t be wearing a dark wig, and since we’re guessing no one’s lost their mind and decided to turn her hair dark courtesy of post-production CGI, it looks like we’re in the market for a redheaded Lois.

Ginger Lois will be joining British Superman Henry Cavill, not-dead Pa Kent as played by Kevin Costner and, of course, Laurence Fishburne as the very first non-white Perry White, when the Zack Snyder directed “Man of Steel” hits theaters on June 14, 2013. In less controversial casting, the rest of the "Man of Steel" ensemble includes Michael Shannon as General Zod, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Julia Ormond as Lara Lor-Van, and Harry Lennix and Christopher Meloni as a pair of military officials.

Watch below for a scene of Adams in action as the fearless Daily Planet reporter:
