'Dark Knight Rises': Analyzing Anne Hathaway's Catwoman Getup

So far we’ve seen copious shots of both Christian Bale’s returning Batman suit, as well as what Tom Hardy will be wearing as Bane in “The Dark Knight Rises.” But one costume we’ve seen absolutely nada for has been Anne Hathaway’s Catwoman outfit…until now. Click the image below to help us pick out all the nitty gritties of your favorite burglar’s catsuit!

The Ears

Where are the ears!? If this is indeed Hathaway as Catwoman, and not just a look at her sleekly dressed alter ego, Selina Kyle, the suit has omitted the character’s signature cat ears. In fact, unless it’s just fallen down behind, the suit is also lacking the standard Catwoman cowl.

The Eyewear

While there might not be cat ears, the costume does make use of goggles, like most recent depictions of the character. Catwoman goggles it up in both the regular DC comic books as well as in her appearances in video games like “Batman: Arkham Asylum” and “Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe”.

The 'Do

In the comic books, underneath the goggles and cat-eared cowl, Selina Kyle usually sports short, dark black hair, while on “Batman: The Animated Series,” the cat burglar had long blonde hair. In “Dark Knight Rises,” though, the character will be depicted with Anne Hathaway’s familiar long brown hair.

The Thievery

While some things about her look may have changed, Catwoman’s behavior certainly hasn’t. Check out that bike – it looks suspiciously similar to Batman’s, and we’re guessing he didn’t just hand over the keys.

The Suit

Nobody told us, but it’s looking like dimples are the new hotness when it comes to superhero costumes. Catwoman’s suit boasts the same texture as Henry Cavill’s in “Man of Steel” and Andrew Garfield’s in “The Amazing Spider-Man.”
