This first look at Cavill as the Man of Tomorrow — which is pretty damn awesome, I must say — comes hot on the heels of a recent interview in which the actor described putting on the Superman costume for the very first time.
"It’s extremely cool. There’s no other feeling like it," he said. "They just put it on, I turned around and look in the mirror and you can’t really play it cool – you sort of guffaw and laugh. I thought ‘OK, holy hell, this is real, it’s not a joke anymore. This is it…you’re doing it, you’re right in the middle of it.’”
"Man of Steel" stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Michael Shannon as General Zod, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Russell Crowe as Jor-El, Julia Ormond as his wife Lara Lor-Van, and Laurence Fishburne as Perry White.
