'Cowboys And Aliens,' 'Captain America' And Jessica Jones In Today's Twitter Report

Jessica JonesSan Diego Comic-Con is now just a memory for 2011, but post-show tweets continued from everyone who wasn't passed out on a redeye flight last night. Jon Favreau and Olivia Wilde sounded satisfied with the reception "Cowboys and Aliens" got, and Joe Hill compared Harrison Ford's performance in the film to "Raiders of the Lost Ark."

In TV news, Marvel acknowledged that "AKA Jessica Jones" is in development for ABC. Brian Michael Bendis refused to say any more, though, being that he's busy with "Powers" goings on in Chicago. Check out what he did say, as well as whose cosplay impressed Gail Simone at SDCC down below.

I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is your Twitter Report for July 25, 2011.

@BRIANMBENDIS i have been loeb gagged for now (ew) on the jessica jones show, but me happy on many levels. focussed on powers TV right now.

-Brian Michael Bendis, Writer ("New Avengers," "Ultimate Spider-Man")

@Oeming I loved Cap- but I do think it was missing- conflict or more interaction between Skull and Cap, felt like Skull was in his own film

-Mike Oeming, Writer/Artist ("Powers," "The Mice Templar")

@marksable although I have very little interest in seeing Spider-Man's origin on film again, have to say the trailer looks good

-Mark Sable, Writer ("Two-Face: Year One," "Fearless")

"Cowboys and Aliens" pt. 1: @oliviawilde Cowboys premiere was probably the proudest moment of my career. The 2,000 fans in the audience were sensational. Get ready for Friday!

-Olivia Wilde, Actress ("Cowboys and Aliens")

"Cowboys and Aliens" pt. 2: @joe_hill I said #COWBOYSANDALIENS is Ford's best since RAIDERS. People asking if I forgot THE FUGITIVE. No. FUGITIVE was awesome. C&A is better.

-Joe Hill, Writer ("Locke and Key")

"Cowboys and Aliens" pt. 3: @Jon_Favreau Thank you to everyone who made Comic Con 2011 better than ever, and a premiere I'll never forget! #SDCC

-Jon Favreau, Director ("Cowboys and Aliens," "Iron Man")

@GailSimone I saw a great Huntress cosplayer and she TOTALLY had the swagger and I thought, "Wow, amazing!" and it turned out to be a guy. AWESOME! :)

-Gail Simone, Writer ("Birds of Prey," "Wonder Woman")

@simonpegg All death diminishes us. I dwell on Amy because I had the pleasure of knowing her socially. The closer death is, the more reflective we get.

-Simon Pegg, Actor ("Star Trek," "The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn")
