'Man Of Steel' Pays A Visit To Kent Farm In Smallville

New alleged “Man of Steel” set photos have been released. Taken in Plano, Illinois, they’re supposed to be the house on Kent Farm in Smallville.

These were first posted at Superman Homepage. As you can see, it appears the house is still being built, and it’s out in the middle of nowhere. There are four pictures, giving a sneak peek to what we have to expect.

Fans of “Superman” are familiar with the town of Smallville, the clean rural community where Clark Kent grows up with his adopted parents, John and Martha Kent. The name lent itself to the title of the popular TV show that recently ended, but it seems Smallville will have new life in “Man of Steel,” which promises to take place over the course of Clark Kent’s existence. Diane Lane and Kevin Costner have already been hired to play Superman’s earth parents.

Superman Homepage also reports that supposedly the movie will have Superman fly through an iHop sign. According to the report, the sign has been made in South Carolina and will be shipped to Illinois shortly.

Starring Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Russell Crowe, Kevin Costner and Diane Lane, and directed by Zack Snyder, “Man of Steel” is scheduled to hit theaters in 2012.

What do you think of Kent Farm? Did you like the set pictures, and do they give you a good idea of what to expect? Are you looking forward to seeing “Man of Steel”? Let us know in the comments section or on Twitter!
