New 'Adventures Of Tintin' Image Appears Online

A new still image from "The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn" has hit the web, and it not only gives us a great look at our leading man, it also features a prominent role for the endlessly adorable Snowy. Win.

Featuring its leading man in the forefront, the image showcases some beautiful CGI and convincing motion capture results that director Steven Spielberg was undoubtedly shooting for. It also gives fans a nice close look at Tintin, something that has been a bit hard to come by in the previous marketing.

The first teaser trailer was met with mixed responses, but between the new stills that are hitting the web and the new footage that is sure to be debuted at the movie's Comic-Con panel, Spielberg will likely convince many nonbelievers. But for many onlookers, it's Spielberg's very name that's keeping them on board. No pressure, Steven!

"The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn" was co-written by Edgar Wright, Steven Moffat and Joe Cornish, and stars Daniel Craig, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Jamie Bell, and Cary Elwes. It hits theaters December 23.
