Alas, it wasn’t meant to be (on the FOX network, at least), but now it looks like fans will indeed be able to check out the pilot episode — if they can make it to San Diego for this year’s Comic-Con International.
Calling it “the most talked-about pilot not on the Fall schedule,” IDW will screen “Locke & Key” on Friday, July 22. The screening will be followed by a Q&A panel with comic creators Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez, as well as pilot writer Josh Friedman, and producers Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci.
