'Powers' Casting, 'Thor' Praise, And Arnold Schwarzenegger's Marriage In Today's Twitter Report

PowersBad movie jokes about Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver's separation were easy to find in the feed this morning. When you dedicate your career to outrageous action movies full of clever one-liners, these things tend to happen, so hopefully they're taking the jabs in stride.

The comic book movies world got a great update from Brian Michael Bendis, though. Apparently he's been watching tapes of potential "Powers" actors. Now, he just needs to tell us a little more about the surprises he mentioned. Place your bets after the jump, where we've got more "Source Code" and "Thor" reviews.

I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is the Twitter Report for May 10, 2011.

@BRIANMBENDIS watching powers tv audition tapes all night. some surprising names.

-Brian Michael Bendis, Writer ("Ultimate Spider-Man," "New Avengers")

@DanSlott I'm asking for SO much on EVERY pg of Spider-Island, when it's over, I owe @humberto_ramos a story where Sue Storm turns everyone invisible.

-Dan Slott, Writer ("Amazing Spider-Man," "Avengers: The Initiative")

Schwarzenegger/Shriver pt. 1: @marcbernardin I go out for one little dinner and Arnold Schwarzenegger separates from Maria Shriver? Is nothing between freakishly jawed people sacred?

-Marc Bernardin, Writer ("The Highwaymen," "The Authority")

Schwarzenegger/Shriver pt. 2: @BrianLynch Arnold probably put in TOTAL RECALL, waited until "Consider that a divorce" and then said "hahahaha that was ad-libbed, speaking of..."

-Brian Lynch, Writer ("Angel: After the Fall," "Monkey Man Unleashed")

@RyanOttley Gonna watch Thor tonight. Too late for the non-3D version. I hope the Imax 3D doesn't break me.

-Ryan Ottley, Artist ("Invincible," "Haunt")

@skottieyoung Wow. Thor was awesome!! Probably my favorite comic movie so far. I will be seeing this many more times.

-Skottie Young, Artist ("New X-Men," "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz")

@gabrielhardman Not a knock on Source Code but how come no one mentioned it's a virtual remake of Chris Marker's La Jetee?

-Gabriel Hardman, Artist ("Agents of Atlas," "The Black Cat")

@jonrog1 I will sit through this adaptation of DORIAN GREY for Colin Firth. Sad, sad man-crush.

-John Rogers, Writer ("Blue Beetle," "Zombie Tales")
