Hugh Jackman's Wolverine Diet, 'X-Men: First Class' Criticism, And 'Thor' In Today's Twitter Report

Phil NotoThe new "X-Men: First Class" poster that arrived for the UK this week left a bit to be desired for some mutant fans, but artist Phil Noto drew some inspiration from the the film and made his own poster. Our feed this morning kicked off with a stack of deserved compliments, and I think you'll see why down below.

Hugh Jackman, meanwhile, rarely finds time in his busy life to use Twitter, but going off of his Wolverine diet and taking a production break in Paris evidently got him in the mood today. His exuberance, a sweet Catwoman sketch from Ted Naifeh and gut feelings about "Thor" and "Dylan Dog" all made the day's retweet list.

I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is the Twitter Report for April 21, 2011.

@RealHughJackman Quick 2 day break in Paris meant Wolverine diet was put on hold! Great spring weather. Loved exploring the Rodin museum. Now back 2 work!

-Phil Noto, Artist ("Superman/Supergirl: Maelstrom," "Batman/Doc Savage Special")

@TedNaifeh http://yfrog.com/h2gjyvoj a sketch from wondercon. Did I already tweet this? I don't remember.

-Ted Naifeh, Writer/Artist ("Polly and the Pirates," "How Loathsome")

@mrmarkmillar Fox get slammed by the fans, but they're doing great on X-Men now, David Slade on DD and gave me Mr Tony Scott for Nemesis #cantcomplain

-Mark Millar, Writer ("Wanted," "Kick-Ass")

@KatzMoney If THOR performs to tracking expectations and Oklahoma City keeps playing like this, thunder will never have been more fashionable.

-Jeff Katz, Writer/Producer ("Booster Gold," "Freddy vs Jason vs Ash")

@mercuryeric So... this Dylan Dog movie... I'm, uh, I'm not sure how I feel about it. Has the feel of a studio desperate to bury it, doesn't it?

-Eric Trautmann, Writer ("JSA vs. Kobra: Engines of Faith," "The Shield")

@billamend Driving around LA today I started having flashbacks to GTA San Andreas. Very weird sense of "Oh, this is where I killed that gun dealer."

-Bill Amend, Writer/Artist ("FoxTrot")
