‘Angry Birds’ Ads, ‘American Idol’ Reactions, And Foo Fighters In Today’s Twitter Report

Unhappy with the advertisements that have been showing up while you play “Angry Birds”? It sounds like you have a friend in Nathan Fillion, as he’s been writing out some formal tweets to the game’s makers complaining about what’s been appearing on his screen.

Andy Diggle voiced some concerns as well today, listing off things he can’t do in mainstream comics that leave him bewildered. Ryan Kelly’s Death sketch, meanwhile, will not leave you bewildered, because it is gorgeous. The Instagram link to that and Foo Fighters and “American Idol” criticism all made the Twitter highlight reel today and await you after the jump.

I’m @brianwarmoth, and this is your Twitter Report for April 13, 2011.

@andydiggle I can show people having their heads cut off but I can’t say “Goddamn.” [pt. 2] I can show a woman being murdered with a pen through the eye socket but I can’t have her killer call her a “bitch.” [pt. 3] I can show a character being vaporized but I can’t show him smoking a cigarette. [pt. 4] Mainstream comics have weird values.
-Andy Diggle, Writer (“The Losers,” “Daredevil”)

@NathanFillion Dear Angry Birds, I even gave you a shout out on CASTLE, and ads slowing my game is how you repay me? I await your response. Nate
