'Breaking In' & 'Super' Reactions, And Kapow Comic Con In Today's Twitter Report

KapowTweets out of Mark Millar's first ever Kapow Comic Con in London over the weekend proved to be mostly positive. For those of us grounded in North America, however, Jock kindly posted a pic from the show, showing a lineup of creators that were about as top notch as they come.

This morning's feed brought in a great haul of artwork, too, including a "fast digital sketch" of Cosmic Boy from Yildiray Cinar that puts many a published cover to shame and a Hermione Granger from Wes Molebash. Those retweets and reactions to "Breaking In" and "Super" make up the day's highlight reel after the jump, so dig in!

I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is your Twitter Report for April 11, 2011.

@jock4twenty Quitely, JRJR, Gibbons, Millar #Kapow http://instagr.am/p/DBBAT/

-Jock, Aritst ("The Losers," "Green Arrow: Year One")

@ycinar Before I go to bed, here's a fast digital sketch of COSMIC BOY http://twitpic.com/4jfxy5

-Yildiray Cinar, Artist ("Legion Of Super Heroes," "Noble Causes")

@HackinTimSeeley I liked SUPER. played like a weirder, more likable & sincere KICK ASS.

-Tim Seeley, Writer/Artist ("Hack/Slash," "Ant Man and The Wasp")

@DanSlott Watching BREAKING IN pilot. Is it me, of is this show trying too hard? Each sequence feels over-polished to be hi-larious, clever, and cool.

-Dan Slott, Writer ("The Amazing Spider-Man," "Avengers: The Initiative")

@THEWesMolebash Hermione Granger. http://picplz.com/Q6t9

-Wes Molebash, Writer/Artist ("You’ll Have That," "The Litterbox Chronicles")

@andeparks I get that he's not the easiest target, but man, Armisen's Obama is anti-comedy.

-Ande Parks, Writer/Artist ("Green Arrow," "Capote")

@JhonenV Started feeling drowsy again after ten years of sleeplessness, so I popped in Mac N' Me for the first time in a decade. A HORRIFYING FILM.

-Jhonen Vasquez, Writer/Artist ("Johnny the Homicidal Maniac," "Invader Zim")

@BrianDenham Why wasn't Kirk's mom in Star Trek other than giving birth? The car Kirk drove could have been hers. Where was she when he was promoted?

-Brian Denham, Artist ("Iron Man: Hypervelocity," "Man-Thing")
