With the release of “Thor” fast approaching next month, another clip from the movie has been released. And this time, the Asgardian warrior isn't the only superhero making an appearance.
The clip from IGN, which is a little less than a minute long, shows Thor doing some down and dirty fighting (and it’s not just down and dirty because part of it is in the mud). But the video isn’t just about Chris Hemsworth strutting his stuff, fantastic though his action sequence may be. If you watch closely, you’ll also get to see a quick cameo of the arrow-shooting Hawkeye -- and no, I’m not talking Alan Alda!
Watch the video and let us know if you see him. He’s there, but he’s not there for very long, so try not to blink. (Okay, you can blink, but he’s there and gone.) Here’s a hint: he shows up at around the 24 second mark.
There had been talk about a possible Hawkeye cameo in "Thor" for a while, and it was both rumored and denied, with some people insisting it would happen and others expressing doubt. Recently we were able to confirm the news, and this video gives further proof that the Kenneth Branagh-directed movie paves the road towards "The Avengers" in a very decisive way.
“Thor” will hit theatres on May 6.
What do you think of Hawkeye’s cameo? Is this what you were picturing for a cameo, or did you want something else? Do you think there's more to it? Let us know in the comments section or on Twitter!
