Amy Adams As Lois Lane In ‘Superman’ Reboot, And ‘Sucker Punch’ Reactions In Today’s Twitter Report

Amy Adams officially grabbed the role of Lois Lane in Zack Snyder’s Superman film this week, and with it, she also gained trending status on the Twitter Report’s follow list. Mark Millar loves the choice, as does Gail Simone. J.T. Krul thinks someone else was robbed, however.

Elsewhere, Rob Liefeld shared his theory about Snyder’s other film, “Sucker Punch,” and its disappointing performance at the box office over the weekend. Mike Allred kept this morning’s reading upbeat with a glistening micro-review of “Paul,” though. Find out who you agree with down below.

I’m @brianwarmoth, and this is your Twitter Report for March 28, 2011.

Amy Adams pt. 1: @chris_ryall Why’s the Internet grousing about Amy Adams/Lois Lane? She’s a good choice, & she’s also not Kate Bosworth. Some perspective is needed here.
-Chris Ryall, CCO (IDW)

Amy Adams pt. 2: @CullyHamner Chiming in a little late, I ’m sure, but I think Amy Adams is a GREAT choice for Lois Lane.
-Cully Hamner, Artist (“Red,” “Blue Beetle”)

Amy Adams pt. 3: @jeffparker I like that the Lois Lane actress also has a comic booky alliterative name.
-Jeff Parker, Writer (“Agents of Atlas,” “Dark Reign: The Hood”)

Amy Adams pt. 4: @mrmarkmillar Can I just say that Amy Adams as Lois is inspired casting? She’s the best big-name actress of her generation and Lois SHOULD be in her…
-Mark Millar, Writer (“Wanted,” “Kick-Ass”)

Amy Adams pt. 5: @mrmarkmillar …thirties. She’s won a Pulitzer and kinda given up on guys by the time she meets Superman. She can’t be a 25 year old. She needs to be…

Amy Adams pt. 6: @mrmarkmillar …formidable and Donner got this when he cast 30 something Kidder opposite 24 year old Reeve. It’s why Kate Bosworth didn’t work.

Amy Adams pt. 7: @GailSimone I don’t know who Amy Adams is. She appears to have red hair. Thus, she is probably awesome.
-Gail Simone, Writer (“Birds of Prey,” “Wonder Woman”)

Amy Adams pt. 8: @jtkrul As Monday comes I’m still stunned over this weekend’s upset…Rachel Adams wins Lois Lane part over Snooki. I thought she was a lock.
-J.T. Krul, Writer (“Blackest Night: Titans,” “Fathom”)

@robertliefeld The Sucker Punch lesson is you can’t make a one quadrant picture and expect success. Four quadrants will best you every time
-Rob Liefeld, Writer/Artist (“X-Force,” “Youngblood”)

@AllredMD PAUL was most fun I’ve had at Cinema in weeks. Big fan of @GregMottola too: Superbad, Arrested D, Undeclared, Adventureland, The Comeback…
-Mike Allred, Writer/Artist (“Madman,” “X-Statix”)
