'Chew' On Showtime, More 'Sucker Punch' Reviews, And Deadpool In Today's Twitter Report

Sucker PunchNow that the "Chew" TV series is headed to Showtime, we can all look forward to seeing which elements of John Layman and Rob Guillory's Image Comics series make it over to the adaptation. For the time being, though, we do have a fine tweet from Guillory forecasting what the Showtime take could look like.

In other topics, I hope you left yesterday's report craving more "Sucker Punch" reviews, because a few more showed up in the feed this morning. Adam Hughes has now dethroned Fred Van Lente with my favorite horrible description of the film yet, but I'm still just as stoked to finally see it as Jim Lee seems to be. Read the review carnage after the jump and find out which comic Gallagher won't be appearing on anytime soon.

I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is your Twitter Report for March 25, 2011.

Chew: @Rob_guillory @drewgill I doubt there will be any luchadore chickens, but they may surprise me yet. Pilot script's hilarious, though. VERY, very good.

-Rob Guillory, Artist ("Chew")

@RyanStegman Fighting the urge to make a Gallagher hammer reference on this second Fear Itself Deadpool cover. If only he wouldn't've had a heart attack!

-Ryan Stegman, Artist ("Incredible Hercules," "Riftwar")

"Sucker Punch" pt. 1: @philhester I suspect if Suckerpunch were in Korean we'd all be tweeting how amaaaaaazing it was. #youprobablyhaventheardofit

-Phil Hester, Writer/Artist ("Green Arrow," "The Irredeemable Ant-Man")

"Sucker Punch" pt. 2: @cameronMstewart I think Sucker Punch will have some great design work and some pretty shots, but it looks REALLY dumb.

-Cameron Stewart, Writer/Artist ("Batman and Robin," "Sin Titulo")

"Sucker Punch" pt. 3: @AH_AdamHughes SUCKERPUNCH. It was like two trains, conducted by Michael Bay & Stephen Sommers while filled with napalm & kittens, wrecking. AMAZING.

-Adam Hughes, Artist ("Wonder Woman," "Catwoman")

"Sucker Punch" pt. 4: @smuu I wish a woman had directed Suckerpunch because I don't trust Zack Snyder to do justice to that kind of story.

-Faith Erin Hicks, Writer/Artist ("Zombies Calling," "The War at Ellsmere")

"Sucker Punch" pt. 5: @jimlee00 Excited to be seeing Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch this weekend. Designs by the incomparable @alexpardee who you should #followfriday!

-Jim Lee, Artist ("Batman," "X-Men")

@GailSimone There are Navy Seals who would turn down a plum role in the Spider-man musical.

-Gail Simone, Writer ("Birds of Prey," "Wonder Woman")
