With production on Marc Webb's reboot of "Spider-Man" now fully underway, reports from the set are flying in all fast and furious-like. Sony got a jump on things by releasing an image of star Andrew Garfield in costume before the spies could do their dirty work. That turned out to be the right move, since the days that followed have brought with them a flood of information and up-close views of the action.
Today's latest look, posted on YouTube, is the most action-packed yet: Spidey swinging!
All right. Maybe it's not quite as exciting as seeing Doc Ock and Spider-Man brawl on top of a speeding elevated train car. But the magic is in the editing and the visual effects — and for that, you'll have to wait.
It's a pretty safe bet that Garfield isn't the guy dangling from the rope, since that's what stuntmen are for, but it's still cool to see some dude in a Spider-Man costume doing whatever a spider can, isn't it?
There's still a lot of time left between now and the July 3, 2012 release of Webb's reboot, so expect to see plenty more from the set soon enough.
