Prince William's Engagement, The Beatles On iTunes, And 'Firebreather' In Today's Twitter Report

Beatles iTunesBrits hogged all the headlines in today's trending Twitter Report topics. Steve Jobs and Apple got things rolling by announcing that they finally reached a deal to sell Beatles tracks and albums via iTunes, and the comics world's reaction seemed to be pretty in sync with the rest of the Internet. Elsewhere, Prince William's engagement to Kate Middleton has been showing up all over the place, including the posts of Andy Diggle and Jock.

Check out how the news affected those two guys after the jump, where you can also find Phil Hester's advice for new "Firebreather" readers and a picture of what it looks like to paint with Guinness.

I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is the Twitter Report for November 16, 2010.

iTunes pt. 1: @KodyChamberlain I refuse to believe there are die-hard Beatles fans out there with no Beatles on their iPod because Apple hasn't added it to the store yet.

-Kody Chamberlain, Writer/Artist ("Sweets," "Shang-Chi: Master of Kung Fu")

iTunes pt. 2: @THEWesMolebash The best thing abut the Beatles being on iTunes is now I can finally get the album artwork for my Beatles music.

-Wes Molebash, Writer/Artist ("You’ll Have That," "The Litterbox Chronicles")

iTunes pt. 3: @chris_ryall Doesn't the entire world already own all these Beatles songs? Where's my iPad 4.0 update?

-Chris Ryall, CCO (IDW)

iTunes pt. 4: @frazerirving Despite having bought all Beatles albums on vinyl, cassetee and cd (sometimes twice) I'm glad they're on itunes now. Bit late for me tho...

-Frazer Irving, Artist ("Seven Soldiers: Klarion the Witch Boy," "Gutsville")

Prince William pt. 1: @andydiggle For a scary moment I thought Prince William was marrying Kate *Silverton*. Phew! She's still available. #ohwaiti'mmarried

-Andy Diggle, Writer ("The Losers," "Daredevil")

Prince William pt. 2: @jock4twenty I thought @bbcbreaking was just, well, breaking news. Not constant updates on what the 3rd earl of whatever thinks about a wedding

-Jock, Artist ("The Losers," "Green Arrow: Year One")

@philhester For Firebreather newbies curious about the mechanics of a human mating with a dragon: 1) Perv. 2) Kaiju are pretend. 3) Buy the new series!

-Phil Hester, Writer/Artist ("Green Arrow," "The Irredeemable Ant-Man")

Deep Thought for the Day:

@Oeming Am I painting with Guiness? Yes I am, it will make a nice sepia http://yfrog.com/gv69azj

-Mike Oeming, Writer/Artist ("Powers," "The Mice Templar")
