World Series Champions, Xbox360 Dashboard Updates, And McRibs In Today's Twitter Report

McRibAmong the topics energizing comics' busiest tweeters in the last 24 hours, the San Francisco Giants' win over the Texas Rangers in the World Series definitely got the most attention. SF supporters had a few choice words for Texas, while others were just a little saddened that MLB play will be over for a while.

That's not to say the Xbox 360's new dashboard didn't raise a few eyebrows as well, though. It joined today's elections, the McRib and Grace Park in the topics addressed after the jump. Check 'em out and find out if Simon Pegg thinks you're cool or not.

I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is the Twitter Report for November 2, 2010.

@marcbernardin I'd be a lot more into Hawaii 5-0 if once per episode they forced Grace Park to eat a sandwich.

-Marc Bernardin, Writer ("The Highwaymen," "The Authority")

@JhonenV Hey Xbox Dashboard update, you're ugly and I hate your newly harsh, bleached face!

-Jhonen Vasquez, Writer/Artist ("Johnny the Homicidal Maniac," "Invader Zim")

Giants pt. 1: @BrianReed Nice work, Giants. Goodbye daily baseball games until March 31st, 2011.

-Brian Reed, Writer ("Ms. Marvel," "Secret Invasion: Front Line")

Giants 2: @boltcity Loved watching the Giants play in the series (great defense & pitching), and Tim Lincecum is ridiculously good. Congrats Giants!

-Kazu Kibuishi, Writer/Artist ("Copper," "Amulet: The Stonekeeper")

Giants pt. 3: @achewood You know what's bigger in Texas tonight? The score of the baseball team from San Francisco. Pass the Dutchie, Flamey T.

-Chris Onstad, Writer/Artist ("Achewood")

Music pt. 1: @simonpegg I don't get this thing about supposedly not being able to distinguish between the Superman and Star Wars themes. Shame in you if you can't.

-Simon Pegg, Actor ("Star Trek," "The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn")

Music pt. 2: @mrmarkmillar @simonpegg The ability to distinguish between Superman, Star Wars and Raiders themes will be test for whether you live or die when I'm PM.

-Mark Millar, Writer ("Kick-Ass," "Wanted")

@zebwells I just ate two McRibs. I want to make this a funny tweet but I really have no idea what else to say.

-Zeb Wells, Writer ("The Amazing Spider-Man," "New Warriors")

Deep Thought for the Day:

@westonfront Every time I watch The Rocketeer I think to myself, "Timothy Dalton would make a great James Bond". One second later I suddenly remember...

-Chris Weston, Artist ("The Authority," "The Filth")
