Time Travelers, Halloween Costumes, And Justin Bieber In Today’s Twitter Report

Time traveler theories about a woman suspected of carrying a cellphone in footage of a Charlie Chaplin film premiere this week got the collective Internet’s imagination running wild. Dave Gibbons sought to assure everyone that that time travel is definitely not possible, though — even if Bryan Hitch found a flaw in his logic.

TV and Halloween have been the other hot topics of the day. Simon Pegg joined others in mourning the loss of “Caprica,” while Marc Bernardin is grateful to have “Battlestar Galactica” available on Netflix for reasons you may or may not agree with. Find out what they are after the jumps along with who dressed up as Justin Bieber and who wants Twitter to make some changes thanks to “Project Runway.”

I’m @brianwarmoth, and this is the Twitter Report for October 29, 2010.

Time travel pt. 1: @davegibbons90 If there was time travel, the Crucifixion, 9/11, 1066 etc would have been rammed with rubber-necking gawpers from the future.
-Dave Gibbons, Artist (“Watchmen,” “Green Lantern”)

Time travel pt. 2: @THEHITCHFACTORY @davegibbons90 history does indeed record a crowd at each event…
-Bryan Hitch, Artist (“The Ultimates,” “Captain America: Reborn”)

@pvponline Twitter should offer a “time out” feature. Where you unfollow someone just long enough to get past their twitter bombs about project runway.
-Scott Kurtz, Writer/Artist (“PvP”)

@simonpegg Sad to hear #Caprica got cancelled. Shows just aren’t given the opportunity to hit their frakking stride these days. ”
-Simon Pegg, Actor (“Star Trek,” “The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn”)

@marcbernardin Now that BSG is on Netflix Instant, I can relive the wonder, the amazeballs that is FAT LEE ADAMA…whenever I want. And tonight, I want.
-Marc Bernardin, Writer (“The Authority,” “The Highwaymen”)

Justin Bieber pt. 1: @eliopoulos One son dressed as Justin Beiber, looks like him. Other son dressed as his bodyguard, looks like the unibomber.
-Chris Eliopoulos, Artist/Writer/Letterer (“Lockjaw and the Pet Avengers,” “Misery Loves Sherman”)

Deep Thought for the Day:

@beatonna Robinson Crusoe would be funny if it was about a Native man who adopted a crazy stinky dude who washed up on shore
