"The Walking Dead" makes its big debut on television this weekend, giving small-screen audiences a taste of what fans of Robert Kirkman's award-winning comic have known for years: the post-apocalyptic, zombie-filled adventures of Rick Grimes are simply some of the best storytelling out there.
But as any fan will tell you, it's not just the scripts that make "The Walking Dead" what it is — there's also a pair of talented artists (original artist Tony Moore and current, longtime artist Charlie Adlard) that make the series even more compelling. That's why we're psyched to give away a copy of "The Walking Dead: The Cover" from Image Comics, collecting the first 50 covers of "The Walking Dead" with commentary from the book's creators and various unpublished, never-before-seen art from the series.
It's a beautiful book that offers a great example of why "The Walking Dead" is one of the most popular comics of the last decade. Read on for what you need to do to win yourself a copy.
