Robert Kirkman got a bit sentimental about "The Walking Dead" on Twitter this morning and shared a quick history footnote about himself and artist Tony Moore. Elsewhere in the feed, Jimmy Palmiotti's pulling for AMC's new series to succeed; he's worried about when he'll be able to watch it, though.
The biggest news by far to land in the comics/movies world today was the title of Christopher Nolan's new Batman film, "The Dark Knight Rises." Opinions sprouted up all over the place about who his villain should be, especially if The Riddler isn't in the script. Check out what's been proposed down below along with some reactions to the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" episode of "Glee."
I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is the Twitter Report for October 27, 2010.
"Dark Knight Rises" pt. 1: @DanSlott The WAY Nolan says the Riddler ISN'T in the next Batman movie is ACTUALLY a clever riddle proving that he IS. #HeDirectedMementoAndInception
-Dan Slott, Writer ("The Amazing Spider-Man," "Avengers: The Initiative")
"Dark Knight Rises" pt. 2: @jerwa I'd really love to see BLACK MASK as the villain for Dark Knight Rises, but I prefer his first appearance incarnation. One of my favorites.
-Brandon Jerwa, Writer ("Highlander," "Battlestar Galactica")
"Dark Knight Rises" pt. 3: @Southworth So, if The Riddler's not the next Batman villain, I guess we're down to Calendar Man, Cluemaster, or Humpty Dumpty.
-Paul Southworth, Writer/Artist ("Ugly Hill")
"The Walking Dead" pt. 1: @RobertKirkman Great seeing @tonymoore last night. We met in 7th grade & then we're in LA a short 4 years later to see a TV show based on a comic we did.
-Robert Kirkman, Writer ("Invincible," "The Walking Dead")
"The Walking Dead" pt. 2: @jpalmiotti Want walking dead to do well...but staying in to watch it isn't gonna happen. Maybe I will leave my tv on for it. Does that count?
-Jimmy Palmiotti, Writer ("Jonah Hex," "Painkiller Jane")
@Paul_Cornell I failed Beatles Rock Band last night. Who'd have thought there'd come a day when 'Here Comes the Sun' would be an 'End of Level Boss'? #fb
-Paul Cornell, Writer ("Wisdom," "Captain Britain and MI: 13")
"Glee" pt. 1: @BrianLynch GLEE was pretty great. Jayma Mays is the best. Does she talk about me on her Twitter?
-Brian Lynch, Writer ("Angel: After the Fall," "Monkey Man Unleashed")
"Glee" pt. 2: @laurennmcc Eesh - Rocky Horror Glee was completely uncomfortable.
-Laurenn McCubbin, Artist ("Quit City," "Sable and Fortune")
"Glee" pt. 3: @neilkleid How sad is it that 3/4 of last night's GLEE audience will have no clue why Barry Bostwick and Meatloaf were in the episode?
-Neil Kleid, Writer ("Ursa Minors," "Action, Ohio")
Deep Thought for the Day:
@matt_sturges Do you think Batman resents Superman because Supes always has rock-hard abs and never works out?
-Matt Sturges, Writer ("Jack of Fables," "Blue Beetle")
