As the final season of "Smallville" stretches on, fans are being taken on a roller coaster ride filled with DC Comics easter eggs and trips down memory lane. For the forthcoming sixth episode of the show's final season, the ride continues with Clark Kent (Tom Welling) and Lois Lane (Erica Durance) taking center stage.
After last week's "Isis," Lois is once again front and center for "Harvest," the sixth episode of the tenth and final season of "Smallville."
According to a plot synopsis released by The CW, the episode sees Clark trying to rescue Lois from a situation he perceives as dangerous, only to find danger in an entirely different area.
"Clark is concerned about Lois' safety so he diverts her away from covering the Vigilante Registrations Act by suggesting she cover another story," states the episode description. "After he comes clean with her, an angry Lois tells him that she can take care of herself, but when a flat tire strands their car in the middle of nowhere, their plans take a turn for the worse and Lois ends up in serious danger."
In addition to Lois and Clark's forthcoming misadventure, "Harvest" will also feature Tess (Cassidy Freeman) as she attempts to find a cure for Alexander's (Connor Stanhope) rapidly aging state.
It sounds like another turbulent week for Clark and Lois, but we're not too worried about their chances for survival — after all, Lois still has to survive long enough for that brief reunion with her mother, played by "Desperate Housewives" actress Teri Hatcher in a wonderful wink-and-nod to fans of her work on "Lois & Clark."
