We've talked up the retro-tastic fun of the "Batman: The Brave And The Bold" animated series fairly often on the site here, but the UK Launch Trailer for the video game based on the series is equally deserving of praise. Featuring Bat-Mite, Green Arrow, and of course, Batman himself, the commercial manages to capture much of the wacky, Silver Age fun that makes the cartoon series such a success.

Created by WayForward and WB Interactive Entertainment, the "Batman: The Brave And The Bold" video game hits shelves September 7 on the Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii.
From the trailer, it also appears that in addition to playing as Batman, you'll also be able to play as the modern incarnation of Blue Beetle, and the fifth-dimensional imp himself, Bat-Mite — but only if you connect your DS version of the game with the Wii version. Honestly, being able to play as Bat-Mite is almost enough justification to buy both versions of the game.
Oh, and does anyone else desperately want a "Hammers Of Justice" poster like the one behind Bat-Mite's couch? Anyone?
