TWITTER REPORT: The New 'Scott Pilgrim' Trailer, E3 News, And Wicked Wolverine Art

Scott PilgrimI'm thankful that even if I didn't have Brian Michael Bendis and Rob Liefeld's tweets to read every morning when I get up, Twitter would still have artwork posts by Philip Tan and Yildiray Cinar. And you should be, too!

As far as the big topics getting batted around in trending over the last day or so, the latest "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" trailer is still getting around, as is an avatar generator that Edgar Wright appears to be a fan of. I still haven't seen a link though! Check out his thoughts, Bryan Hitch's expectations for the movie, and which writer wouldn't mind seeing Nightwing with his pants off.

I'm @brianwarmoth, and these are the prominent issues of the day in the Twitter Report for June 17, 2010.

@THEHITCHFACTORY Scott pilgrim trailer looks ace! The next two or three years suggest comic movies will be the biggest genre still

-Bryan Hitch, Artist ("The Ultimates," "Captain America: Reborn")

@edgarwright I have just seen a highly addictive Scott Pilgrim avatar creator. They didn't have my hairstyle so I went for a Goku do. Will link soon.

-Edgar Wright, Director ("Scott Pilgrim vs. The World")

@SteveNiles E3 was fun. FEAR 3 is looking great. Now back on the road. 4 more signings and then I am done!

-Steve Niles, Writer ("30 Days of Night," "Criminal Macabre")

@jeffparker Perez Hilton might go to jail? Sweet!

-Jeff Parker, Writer ("Agents of Atlas," "Underground")

@rstevens I wonder how many ninja have died in Daredevil since Frank Miller came along? A city's worth? How many million man-hours of training?

-R. Stevens, Writer/Artist ("Diesel Sweeties," "LOLbots")

@ycinar Closing the day with this quick SUPERMAN sketch...

-Yildiray Cinar, Artist ("Legion Of Super Heroes," "Noble Causes")

@philipsytan One more layout sketch before I hit the gym.. Gna pretend I got a healthy lifestyle.. Wolverine!

-Philip Tan, Artist ("Batman and Robin," "Spawn")

Parting Wisdom for the Day:

@GailSimone I am not so much against gratuitous nudity and sexuality in comics as heartily for it, hooray, huzzah, drop those pants, Nightwing!

-Gail Simone, Writer ("Birds of Prey," "Wonder Woman")
