Earlier this year, word broke that Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones and director Barry Sonnenfeld were officially reuniting for "Men In Black 3." And apparently, legendary makeup effects artist Rick Baker will be returning as well.
"I'm just starting up now [on] 'Men in Black 3,'" Baker told the Los Angeles Times. "['Men in Black 3'] is another one I wanted to do because I worked on the first two."
For nearly four decades, Baker has worked extensively in Hollywood, most notably on the original "Star Wars," "The Exorcist," "Planet of the Apes," "Hellboy," "King Kong," and the Michael Jackson music video "Thriller." More recently, Baker has designed the makeup for Robert Downey Jr. in "Tropic Thunder" and for Benicio del Toro in "The Wolfman."
Baker has also won the Academy Award for Best Makeup five times for his work on "An American Werewolf in London," "Harry and the Hendersons," "Ed Wood," "The Nutty Professor," "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and the original "Men In Black."
In addition to Smith and Jones, Jemain Clement and Josh Brolin have also signed on to appear in the film. Clement will reportedly play an alien villain, while Brolin will portray a younger version of Agent K (Jones), when Agent J (Smith) travels back in time to the '60s.
"Men In Black 3" is currently expected to begin shooting in August. The film will re-neuralize fans in 3-D on May 25, 2012.
