EXCLUSIVE: New 'Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World' Clip — It's Scott Vs. Lucas Lee!

If you checked out the MTV Movie Awards Pre-Show, you saw a brand new, exclusive clip from "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World," director Edgar Wright's live-action adaptation of the hit comic book series from Oni Press.

But just in case you missed it (or want to see it again), here's another look:

Yes, that's Wright himself providing the introduction to the new clip, folks — and after seeing Scott go toe-to-toe with skateboarder-turned-actor Lucas Lee, it's hard not to share the filmmaker's enthusiasm for the live-action "Scott Pilgrim" world he's created.

In the new clip, we get to see Scott (Michael Cera) taking on one of his new girlfriend's evil exes, action-movie star Lucas Lee (Chris Evans). And along with getting his butt handed to him by the star, Scott also discovers the importance of an actor's stunt team.

The clip also offers a great taste of Wright's unique take on the film's fight scenes — something we'll probably see a lot of in what looks to be a very faithful adaptation of the source material.

"Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World" hits theaters August 13, 2010.
