TWITTER REPORT: Ellen DeGeneres' Apple Apology, Star Wars Day, And 'Lost' Surprises

LostIn case anyone forgot to say "May the Fourth be with you!" to you Tuesday, it was Star Wars Day, and though much of the comics community recognized the holiday, Edgar Wright completely forgot — or he tweeted. I don't think anyone forgot to watch "Lost" last night, though. Mark Brooks, J. Scott Campbell and Rick Remender certainly didn't. Well, Remender might have. You can read his post below and judge for yourself.

You can also weigh in on whether or not it's possible to lose on the first turn of "Minesweeper," how awesome Mike Norton's Han Solo artwork is and how on target Skottie Young is with his philosophizing about eBaying sketches.

All of these topics and Cameron Stewart's take on Ellen DeGeneres' apology to Apple and Steve Jobs are addressed below in the Twitter Report for May 5, 2010.

@cameronMstewart i love my iPhone, iPad, and my Macs but Apple's recent Gestapo tactics are pretty shitty. Forcing Ellen to apologize for a spoof?!

-Cameron Stewart, Writer/Artist ("Batman and Robin," "Sin Titulo")

@edgarwright I am afraid the rumours are 100 percent true. I clean forgot to celebrate Star Wars day yesterday.

-Edgar Wright, Director ("Scott Pilgrim vs. The World")

"Lost" pt. 1: @MarkBrooksArt Lisa and I are so f'in angry #LOST for what happened on tonight's episode. All you west coasters will know why in a liitle over 2 hours.

-Mark Brooks, Artist ("Cable & Deadpool," "Dark Reign: Young Avengers")

"Lost" pt. 2: @JScottCampbell @MarkBrooksArt #LOST I know, right! I'm so mad too! Kate was shot in the shoulder! Beautiful, sexy Kate. Oh, did something else happen too.?

-J. Scott Campbell, Artist ("Gen¹³," "Danger Girl")

"Lost" pt. 3: @Remender I can't believe Kate is actually Locke's secret ghost sister and Jack has a salvation strain of herpes brought back from the 60's! GO LOST!

-Rick Remender, Writer ("Fear Agent," "Punisher")

@eliopoulos I was invited to go see a screening of Iron Man tonight, but that would have meant leaving my house.

-Chris Eliopoulos, Artist/Writer/Letterer ("Lockjaw and the Pet Avengers," "Misery Loves Sherman")

@TONYFINGHARRIS More Ex Machina #50 pages today. Video conference at noon with some Hollywood lads, then more SAEG!

-Tony Harris, Artist ("Ex Machina," "War Heroes")

@ryanqnorth I've gotten tons of emails saying it's impossible to lose on the first turn of Minesweeper, what they are forgetting is that I'VE DONE IT

-Ryan North, Writer/Artist ("Dinosaur Comics")

@themikenorton Imperial car-jacking... http://tweetphoto.com/21167496

-Mike Norton, Artist ("Blue Beetle," "Gravity")

Parting Wisdom for the Day:

@skottieyoung My general rule: if you pay for a sketch, print, etc. ebay the hell out of it. I don't mind. Lucky enough to get one for free? Keep it.

-Skottie Young, Artist ("New X-Men," "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz")
