Comics tweeters had a lot of wisdom to impart this morning, not the least of which was Phil Hester, who introduced the phrase "Chasing Batgirl" to my vocabulary. Edgar Wright shared some perspective on "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World," and Michael Papajohn indicated that he would love to come back and play Uncle Ben's killer in Marc Webb's "Spider-Man" reboot.
Tap in to all that information after the jump along with some reactions to Robert Rodriguez's new "Predators" trailer, Matt Smith as The Doctor in "Doctor Who" and a "Losers" movie poster sighting in the wild. We also have a prediction regarding Jay-Z's upcoming album.
Check 'em all out and let us know who you agree or disagree with in the Twitter Report for March 19th, 2010.
"Predators" pt. 1: @GeoffJohns0 Am I the only one excited about Predators? When I was a kid Predator was my favorite movie for like four months. MAYBE five.
-Geoff Johns, Writer ("Blackest Night," "The Flash")
"Predators" pt. 2: @westonfront Predators looks fun... but, damn, that's a disappointing alien planet.
-Chris Weston, Artist ("The Authority," "The Filth")
@mattfraction i can't tell you who told me, but i have it on good authority that the new Jay Z record will deal with themes of wealth and self-confidence.
-Matt Fraction, Writer ("Casanova," "Invincible Iron Man")
@simonpegg Filming in the same forest clearing where Russel Crowe unleashed hell. In Gladiator that is.
-Simon Pegg, Actor ("The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn," "Star Trek")
@edgarwright If you eventually watch Scott Pilgrim and Burke & Hare remember that me and @simonpegg discussed Maximus and forest porn while making them.
-Edgar Wright, Director ("Scott Pilgrim vs. The World")

@Paul_Cornell @MarkWaid I can honestly say to Matt Smith 'I was in Dr. Who fandom before you were born.' Remind me not to. #fb
-Paul Cornell, Writer ("Wisdom," "Captain Britain and MI: 13")
Parting Wisdom for the Day:
Chasing Batgirl pt. 1: @philhester Chasing Batgirl: A term some of my comics pro friends use to describe the state of pursuing work-for-hire at Marvel or DC so intently...
-Phil Hester, Writer/Artist ("Green Arrow," "The Irredeemable Ant-Man")
Chasing Batgirl pt. 2: @philhester ... that you neglect creator-owned work & long term goals. So here's to not Chasing Batgirl. Drawing/writing Batgirl? Fine. Chasing kills.
