Apple Tablet Predictions, Frank Miller On Twitter, And 'Batman & Robin' #7 In Today's Twitter Report

TwitterThe Apple Tablet rumored to be announced at the company's press conference tomorrow has the attention of much of the comic book industry, and artist Mitch Breitweiser was the latest in the Twitter Report to add his thoughts to the mix.

And speaking of rumors, Frank Miller may or may not be on Twitter now. "The Spirit" movie producer F.J. DeSanto and "Fanboys" director Kyle Newman have lightly verified the account with their own tweets, but until he posts a picture or gets a Verified badge, I recommend caution. One more thing I recommend is picking up Cameron Stewart's first issue of "Batman & Robin" this week with Grant Morrison. I have high hopes for the arc, and there was a fun exchange between Stewart and Jason Aaron yesterday about what he would have drawn if the opportunity to work with Morrison hadn't come up.

Check that out after the jump along with the next Marvel event Brian Michael Bendis is excited about and Karl Kerschl's Scott Pilgrim theory. It's all part of a healthy Twitter Report for January 26, 2010.

@mbreitweiser As excited as I am about this Apple tablet, I can't help but think it spells the end of the wild frontier days of the internet. #goodtimes

-Mitch Breitweiser, Artist ("Drax the Destroyer," "Captain America: The Chosen")

@FrankMillerInk I just drew a really cool dinosaur. How's that for my first tweet?

-Frank Miller*, Writer/Artist ("Sin City," "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns")

"Batman & Robin" pt. 1: @jasonaaron I'm returning to the subject of the Vietnam War in the pages of SCALPED #38. It's a very different kind of story than THE OTHER SIDE though.

-Jason Aaron, Writer ("Scalped," "Ghost Rider")

"Batman & Robin" pt. 2: @cameronmstewart @jasonaaron I'm sorry I couldn't draw that one. I would have loved to. Bad timing.

-Cameron Stewart, Writer/Artist ("Sea Guy," "Sin Titulo")

"Batman & Robin" pt. 3: @jasonaaron @cameronmstewart No worries. I would've chosen Grant Morrison over me too. Looks like Guera's gonna be able to do it now.

"Batman & Robin" pt. 4: @cameronmstewart @jasonaaron Ha, I'm actually done with Batman. I'm just going away to France and wouldn't be back in time to do the issue comfortably.

@WhilcePortacio Just put five pages of Uncanny X-Men and one pencil and inked Darkness cover in the last twenty four hours...time for sleep...sleeeeeeeeeeep

-Whilce Portacio, Artist ("Wetworks," "X-Factor")

@robertliefeld Best CHUCK since it returned! Love all the Superman connections between Routh and Kruk.

-Rob Liefeld, Writer/Artist ("X-Force," "Onslaught Reborn")

@BRIANMBENDIS At the airport and heading to new York city. Marvel retreat!! I got more notebooks full of stuff than hickman!!

-Brian Michael Bendis, Writer ("New Avengers," "Ultimate Spider-Man")

Parting Wisdom for the Day:

@karlkerschl If Ramona Flowers has dated 7 (that we know of) evil guys in a row, then chances are pretty good that Scott Pilgrim will turn out evil too.

-Karl Kerschl, Writer/Artist ("Teen Titans: Year One," "The Abominable Charles Christopher")
