"Judge Dredd" is still moving forward, according to Jock's tweets today. That new "Judge Dredd" fan film that he mentioned last week got a few other creators tweeting today, including PJ Holden and Dwight MacPherson, who launched jabs at the Stallone incarnation.
Elsewhere in the comics Twittersphere over the weekend, Rob Liefeld posted a video of his sons checking out "Image United" to see how his old characters would play to a younger generation, proving both that his sons share his enthusiasm for superheroes and that they would definitely buy an Overtkill series. "FoxTrot" creator Bill Amend, meanwhile, was watching his own son play "Assassin's Creed 2." Find how how that experience has shaped his perspective on "World of Warcraft," along with what Todd McFarlane's been working on and what Tim Seeley thought of the cosplay at Daisho Con in Wisconsin. It's all in the Twitter Report for November 23, 2009.
@jock4twenty arriving in london soon for DREDD movie meeting...Was thinking of sellotaping my new judge badge to my forehead for when i walk in.Bad idea?
-Jock, Artist ("The Losers," "Green Arrow: Year One")
@D_MacPherson Judge Dredd and The Shadow: both films showed more of the actor than they did the character. That's why both are rubbish.
-Dwight MacPherson, Writer ("Sidewise," "The Surreal Adventures of Edgar Allan Poo")
@pauljholden @D_MacPherson Not sure I'd agree, Dwight - I think, in Dredd's case - the film was rubbish the moment he opened his mouth ! I YAM DULAWWWWH
-PJ Holden, Artist ("Judge Dredd," "The 86ers")
-Rob Liefeld, Writer/Artist ("X-Force," "Onslaught Reborn")
-Jon Favreau, Director ("Iron Man," "Iron Man 2")
@billamend My 13-yr-old son buys Assassin's Creed II on Friday and finishes it on Sunday. Suddenly my $15/mo WoW habit seems like a huge bargain.
-Bill Amend, Writer/Artist ("FoxTrot")
@HackinTimSeeley Spent the weekend surrounded by teenage girls in skimpy outfits. Yes, I was awake. Anime Con in Wisconsin (Daisho Con). Fun! Bad for soul!

Parting Wisdom for the Day:
@ronmarz Lesson from 2009: If you make a shitty movie involving giants robots, vampires, werewolves or sulky teenage girls, people will see it.
