First 'Scott Pilgrim' Trailer, World Series Thoughts And Russell Crowe In Today's Twitter Report

Scott PilgrimEdgar Wright had to broadcast a warning tweet today after accidentally getting some followers' hopes up that he was in the process of uploading the first trailer for "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World." It would have been incredibly retro of him if he were actually using a dial-up connection as he originally posted.

Meanwhile, Todd McFarlane uploaded a scene from his Halloween weekend that may be fake, but remember: this is the man who created Spawn. Baseball didn't seem to be nearly as popular a tweet topic last night as it has been throughout the rest of the World Series. Matt Fraction, however, expressed his wishes to see the Phillies and Yankees drag out the post-season as long as possible. Check out what he tweeted, along with Paul Pope's dream about Russell Crowe and what Jeffrey Rowland learned about "Twilight."

It's all in the Twitter Report for November 3, 2009.

"Scott Pilgrim" trailer pt 1: @edgarwright RT Yes, going up soon. But we're uploading it with dial up so be patient. @m365d @edgarwright Any chance of a SCOTT PILGRIM trailer yet?

-Edgar Wright, Director ("Scott Pilgrim vs. The World")

"Scott Pilgrim" trailer pt 2: @edgarwright People should re-read my tweets for deadpan before they get too excited about a trailer going up today.

@Todd_McFarlane - PICTURE: Here's the scorpion I caught during Halloween. Snuck behind it. Grabbed it by the tip of the tail

-Todd McFarlane, Writer/Artist ("Spawn," "The Amazing Spider-Man")

@pulphope I dreamt that Russell Crowe was showing me his horse farm on Google Maps. You could see tiny galloping horses running across the pastures.

-Paul Pope, Writer/Artist ("Batman: Year 100," "Battling Boy")

@mattfraction i don't care about them winning in new york; i just want the season to go a little longer. #mlbpulse #hotstoveday0

-Matt Fraction, Writer ("Casanova," "Invincible Iron Man")

@McKelvie Interesting thing about the Cyclops sketch I did: Lots of women saying how he looks more attractive than how superheroes are normally drawn.

-Jamie McKelvie, Artist ("Suburban Glamour," "Phonogram")

@GailSimone Man, if only there were some way, some medium by which people with no knowledge of a topic could somehow CONVEY their opinions! DANG!

-Gail Simone, Writer ("Birds of Prey," "Wonder Woman")

@BRIANMBENDIS according to webmd i have pink eye.... and i'm a sex addict :)

-Brian Michael Bendis, Writer ("New Avengers," "Ultimate Spider-Man")
