More 'Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2,' Kanye West And Patrick Swayze In Today's Twitter Report

TwitterComics creators inside and outside of the Marvel offices have been tweeting about their experiences with "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2," which hit shelves this week—though at least one is still waiting on his copy in the mail. Still, others are still trying to make it to the end of "The Beatles: Rock Band," and one notable publisher has reversed his initial cold welcome for the game.

All of those posts, as well as Mike Norton's words of comfort following the death of Patrick Swayze, James Robinson on Kanye West and a Ben Templesmith's new idea that shouldn't surprise anyone can be found below.

It's all in the Twitter Report for September 16, 2009.

@BrianReed Copy of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 - get here faster, please? Copy of Batman Arkham Asylum? You are still missing in action.

-Brian Reed, Writer ("Ms. Marvel")

@MykeNorten From @ccrank "Don't worry, Mike... Whenever you make pottery, Patrick Swayze will still be with you". Mean, yet comforting.

-Mike Norton, Artist ("Blue Beetle," "Gravity")

@chris_ryall Alright, I finally played Beatles Rock Band. And goddamn, I love it. My Beatles fatigue is now a Beatles jones all over again.

-Chris Ryall, Publisher (IDW)

@GailSimone Love Beatles Rock Band, never realized how much I hate "I Want You (she's So Heavy)" and "Hey, Bulldog" until I had to play them a bunch.

-Gail Simone, Writer ("Birds of Prey," "Wonder Woman")

@neilkleid Liked the Stark Tower exploring in UA1, but the give-take in UA2 is meh, thus far. Heading to Times Square now, swinging on a spider web!

-Neil Kleid, Writer ("Ursa Minors," "Action, Ohio")

@JamesDRobinson I'm kind of over people calling Kanye West a douche bag. He got drunk and was a a-----e. Last week I was drunk and head butting people.

-James Robinson, Writer ("Starman," "Action Comics")

@RobertKirkman ...Capullo layouts for Haunt 3. Various covers from Ottley. Wolfman from Howard and TONS of art for IMAGE UNITED! It's been great!!

-Robert Kirkman, Writer ("Invincible," "The Walking Dead")

@Templesmith Just thought up an interesting new idea/concept I must explore...visually. Curses, it still contains tentacles though. SO many tentacles.

-Ben Templesmith, Writer/Artist ("Welcome to Hoxford," "30 Days of Night")

@ToddNauck Just finished watching BigBrother11 finale. Very happy with who won. Tempted to apply for next year. But 3mos w/o drawing?

-Todd Nauck, Writer/Artist ("Teen Titans," "Wildguard")

Parting Wisdom for the Day:

@achewood Okay, what if it had been Abdel Baset al-Megrahi, the accused Lockerbie bomber, instead of Kanye? How would that have played?

-Chris Onstad, Writer/Artist ("Achewood")
