‘Inglourious Basterds,’ ‘Arkham Asylum’ And Brian Bendis’ Birthday In Today’s Twitter Report

Who would have thought there were Quentin Tarantino fans working in comics? Surprisingly enough, “Inglourious Basterds” pops up in more than one writer’s tweets this morning in the Twitter Report. “Batman: Arkham Asylum” and “District 9” were right behind Tarantino in recent entertainment topics, but to find out which Bat-universe writer is already playing through the game in her head, I definitely recommend a thorough reading of today’s report.

The Twitter Report would also like to wish comics-writing marathoner and monolithic industry personality Brian Michael Bendis a happy birthday today, even though his peers on Twitter have already beat me to it many times over.

To check out what they had to say, as well as Neil Gaiman’s “Metamorpho” theme song, check out the Twitter Report for August 18, 2009.

@christinastrain @mikechoi No one wins at a high school reunion. People whose high point was high school tend to have babies and use them to top show ups.
