The Losers, Todd McFarlane's TV Pitch And The Truth About Ghosts In Today's Twitter Report

The LosersThe big guys at Image Comics seem to be launching a full-on assault on TV this week. First, Robert Kirkman scored at AMC with his "Walking Dead" deal; now, Todd McFarlane has pitch of his own—and he's tweeting about it.

Elsewhere in movieland, Andy Diggle posted his reaction to recent set pics from "The Losers" and Kevin Smith announced a wrap to shooting for his new movie "A Couple of Dicks."

Plenty of paper comics tweets were in the mix today, too. In addition supernatural-related thoughts from Joe Hill, there is tweetage from the writing desk of Rick Remender. It's all part of our mission here at the Twitter Report to help comics and movies play as nicely together as possible, and document the evidence when they don't. And now, the Twitter Report for August 13, 2009.

@andydiggle Just saw an awesome set pic of the Losers in action. Wish I could share it with you. Strange feeling, seeing our guys come to life.

@joe_hill On the one hand you've got 100 yrs of research and 5 yrs of GHOST HUNTERS and they've come up with absolutely zip. Not a shred of evidence.

@ThatKevinSmith This is it! Last day of the shoot! Tonight, I'm wrapping DICKS! No, not in my mouth; we're just done with production of the new flick! YES!

-Kevin Smith, Writer ("Green Arrow," "Batman: Cacophony")

@Todd_McFarlane TV: Spent a few hours working on a new TV show pitch, with an 'A+' producer. Will announce details when contract is finalized. TODD

-Todd McFarlane, Writer/Artist ("Spawn," "The Amazing Spider-Man")

@Remender Good news, just figured out a better way to have this scene play out. Bad news, have to erase 7 fully scripted pages to implement.

@GailSimone I think something's wrong with me I LIKED Orphan.

-Gail Simone, Writer ("Birds of Prey," "Wonder Woman")
