You'll have to pardon the tremor in our regular features over the last week, folks -- there was this little thing called Comic-Con happening in San Diego that threw us off our normal routine. Here's hoping the ridiculous amount of Comic-Con coverage we sent your way more than makes up for the shuffled schedule.
To that end, the results from last week's poll seem like a good place to get back on track. We asked readers to vote on the comic book movie they were most looking forward to hearing about during the big show, and the results were, well... less than surprising.
In the end, "Iron Man 2" took home 57 percent of the total votes, with "Kick-Ass" coming in second with only 14 percent of the final tally. Surprisingly (to me, at least), "Scott Pilgrim Vs. Even more surprisingly, the rarely used "Other" category tallied 16 percent of the total, with "Batman 3," "Green Lantern" and "The First Avenger: Captain America" snagging most of the votes.
Reader response was pretty lacking -- which I'm chalking up to the onset of Comic-Con chaos, so there were enough comments to warrant a breakdown of voters' feedback. However, since everyone demanded "Iron Man 2" news, here's a quick recap of what was announced regarding the most-wanted Comic-Con movie:
