Given the fascination with video games for both "Scott Pilgrim" creator Bryan Lee O'Malley and the title character of his massively popular series, it seems like a natural that the project make the jump to gaming -- and that's exactly what it's going to do.
The news leaked out during this weekend's Comic-Con in San Diego, but details are still pretty slim regarding the "Scott Pilgrim" game. What is known, however, is that the game is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal (the same company who developed the "TMNT" tie-in games for the 2007 film) and it will be released alongside Edgar Wright's "Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World" movie.
Along with following all six volumes of the book, the game will unfold in a side-scroller environment. What platforms it will be released for -- and whether it will be a disc-based game or of the downloadable variety (a la "Watchmen: The End Is Nigh") is still unknown.
