Last week, we got a peek at the look "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World" director Edgar Wright is going for with The Clash At Demonhead, the band that includes both an evil ex-boyfriend of Ramona Flowers that Scott will battle, and the hero's own evil ex, Natalie V. "Envy" Adams. Now, it looks like Wright could actually be filming (or at least revealing production photos) in chronological order with the original Bryan Lee O'Malley series, as he just posted a photo from a scene at the finale of Scott and Ramona's encounter with the band.
The photo offers a glimpse of Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ramona Flowers, who "Scott Pilgrim" readers will identify by her trademark "subspace suitcase" and the massive "+2 Against Girls" hammer she pulls from it to fight Envy. The brawl takes place in Volume 3 of O'Malley's "Scott Pilgrim" series, and I've posted both Wright's photo and a page from the book after the jump for the sake of comparison.
First up, Wright's photo of Ramona Flowers' suitcase and hammer:
And here's a page from "Scott Pilgrim" Vol. 3, showing the same scene in print form:
Wright has been posting images from the set of "Scott Pilgrim" on a daily basis, so keep an eye on his official website along with Splash Page for all your "Scott Pilgrim" movie news.
