Last month, I gave you my first-hand impressions of the video game based on the "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" movie -- and to sum up the experience, it was a bloody, fast-paced exercise in bad-assery, bub.
While I tried to touch on as many of the important details about the "Wolverine" game as comics fans could possibly want, there was bound to be some information that slipped through the cracks. Thankfully, Raven Software's project lead, Dan Vondrak, shared a few more details about the much-anticipated game in a recent interview with SuperHeroHype.
"We have all the major characters from the movie in our game," said Vondrak. "We even do a little extra with some of the characters and bring our own characters you don't see in the movie into our story. We also got the actors to help out with the game."
"Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Liev Schreiber (Victor Creed) and Will.i.am (John Wraith) all play the characters in our game, doing the voices and we got full body scans as well," explained Vondrak.
According to Vondrak, the game was conceived well before the film, but eventually became a tie-in project as plans for the movie finalized. The game will feature "90 percent of the movie story" and "an additional 30-40 percent content that's not in the movie that we as fans wanted to see in the game," said Vondrak.
