Hey, remember when we told you about those reports that director George Miller had parted ways with the live-action "Justice League" movie? Well, the reports of that relationship's demise seem to have been greatly exaggerated -- and the "Mad Max" director remains at the helm of the troubled "Justice League" film.
After Dark Horizons reported yesterday that Miller told a Sydney news outlet he was no longer connected with the Warner Bros project, the report disappeared mysteriously from the movie site a few hours later. The crew at ComingSoon.net later posted some clarification they received from one of Miller's representatives.
"A representative from Kennedy Miller Mitchell tells us that George Miller did not appear on the 'Sunrise Morning Show' let alone confirm anything about 'Justice League' or 'Mad Max,'" reported ComingSoon. "According to the representative, 'The facts are indeed the complete opposite to what was reported'..."
So, there you have it, folks. Of course, this simply puts the status of the film back into the realm of "probably not going to happen anytime soon" instead of "no way whatsoever this will happen anytime soon" -- but we'll be sure to keep you updated if any more "Justice League" news breaks.
George Miller is still on "Justice League" -- good news or bad news? Are you still holding out hope for this film? Let us know in the comment section!
