New Trailer For 'The Spirit' Hits The 'Net, Hypes Christmas Release

'The Spirit'Between yesterday's new "Watchmen" trailer and the new trailer for "The Spirit" that hit the grid today, it's a pretty good 24-hour span to be a comic book fan. SuperHeroHype has the new trailer for Frank Miller's much-anticipated (and much-debated) adaptation of the classic Will Eisner series, and this time around, the video seems to be paying special attention to the film's December 25 release date.

The new trailer features a few new bits and pieces from the film, including some extended versions of scenes seen in previous trailers, as well as a noticeably holiday-influenced theme. We also get another look at Samuel L. Jackson as The Octopus (and looking a bit less terrified than our last glimpse of him), as well as Eva Mendes as Sand Saref, who seems to be enjoying the pain she's causing... someone.

Of course, this isn't the only big "Spirit"-related sneak peek you'll be able to get today, as tonight's premiere of MTV's new movie show "Spoilers" (7:30 PM EST) will include another exclusive, never-before-seen look at "The Spirit."

What do you think about all of the new previews hitting the 'Net this week? Too much? Not enough? Struggling to keep up with all of it? Let us know in the comments!
