There was a double shot of "Kick-Ass" popping up on the 'Webs today, with two new photos from the set appearing online and some updates posted to the online journal of Chloe Moretz, the 11-year-old actress playing the pre-teen vigilante Hit Girl.
The /film crew has two new photos from the set, which feature a good look at Aaron Johnson in costume as the title character, Kick-Ass, and our first look at Christopher Mintz-Plasse in costume as Red Mist. Previously, we'd seen the Kick-Ass costume on one of Johnson's doubles for the film, and seen numerous photos of the Red Mist's suped-up car, but nothing of Mintz-Plasse in character. We've posted one of the new photos after the jump.
Meanwhile, Chloe Moretz updated her journal from the London set of the film, telling readers that she recently said goodbye to her "set daddy" Nicolas Cage, who plays her character's father and another vigilante, Big Daddy. Moretz wrote at length about her experience working with Cage in a previous post.
Along with describing the numerous action scenes she's currently filming, Moretz also mentioned that she finally met the writer of the "Kick-Ass" comics, Mark Millar.
"He has this funny Scottish accent," wrote Moretz, adding later in the post, "I still can’t believe what a cool role he wrote for an 11 year old."
What do you think of Red Mist and Kick-Ass in costume? How about Red Mist's hair, eh?
