Is 'Justice League' Finally Moving Forward, And Has It Officially Found Its Wonder Woman?

'JLA'Word outta Hollywood is "Justice League of America" director George Miller may have found his Wonder Woman.

According to a recent interview with Miller published in Australia's Herald Sun, Aussie supermodel and actress Megan Gale "blitzed her competition" after reading for the part of the Amazonian Princess and Justice League staple, stunning the award-winning director with her acting chops and fueling rumors that she's been offered the role. Gale had been long-rumored to have snagged the role. Previously, Jessica Biel had been in talks to don the famous bracelets but reportedly passed on the part.

Short of a cameo role in 2005's "Stealth", Gale is a relative unknown stateside, but has appeared in numerous Italian films and several news and entertianment programs for Australian television.

Meanwhile, the article also mentions that the oft-delayed film could begin production as early as next year. "JLA" had been slated to shoot in Australia but pulled out after favorable tax credits had been revoked by the Australian government. A new home for the production has yet to be announced.
