Ke$ha Falls Through Space To Land At The 2010 Video Music Awards

We've already seen Justin Bieber make his way from the magical tubes that are the Internet to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, and with the show only 11 days away, it's time for another star to make the trip from wherever he or she is to the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles for the show, which will go live at 9 p.m. on Sunday, September 12.

This time around, we follow "Tik Tok" and "Your Love Is My Drug" singer Ke$ha, who makes her way from a blissful slumber to the glitz and glamor of the show. In the promo video below, the 23-year-old Los Angeles native awakens from a deep sleep (thanks to an ethereal version of the intro to "Tik Tok") and wanders over to an open window in her bedroom (clad only in a night shirt and underwear). She tumbles out of the window and free-falls through space, past glowing neon signs touting her and her smash song. As she gets closer to the end of her fall, "Tik Tok" gets louder and louder until the track fully kicks in and Ke$ha arrives.

She joins a star-studded roster that includes Eminem, Kanye West, B.o.B, Drake, Paramore, Florence and the Machine, Justin Bieber, Usher, Linkin Park and dozens more. Ke$ha will compete for four awards at the show, including Best New Artist, Best Collaboration (for "My First Kiss," her tag-team with 3OH!3), Best Female Video and Best Pop Video (for "Tik Tok"). What else will Ke$ha be up to at the show? Tune in on Sunday, September 12 to find out!

The 27th annual MTV Video Music Awards will be broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on September 12 at 9 p.m. ET.
