Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with our intrepid correspondents. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.
While Ke$ha still isn't at the envelope-pushing cultural level as Lady Gaga or tourmate Rihanna, she still knows how to put on a show using more than just her catchy-like-the-measles songs. Ke$ha's performances are a feast for all the senses, as she expands her personal palette to include face paint, costumes, on-stage effects and customized instruments. On Monday night (August 2), she was the special performer at Casio's "Shock the World" event at the Manhattan Center in New York. With her tattoos blazing and make-up glowing, she donned a furry headdress during her show that drove home her anything-goes aesthetic. Khloe Kardashian, Lamar Odom and Danielle Staub were also in attendance last night.
Ke$ha wasn't the only one strutting her stuff, as the Arcade Fire worked out songs from their new album The Suburbs (which is out today) in Philadelphia and Mark Wahlberg visited "The Late Show with David Letterman" in New York. Click here for these photos as well as the entire "Spotted" archive, which features over 400 candid shots of stars like Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Eminem, the Jonas Brothers, Jay-Z, Jessica Simpson, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, 50 Cent, Lady Gaga, Adam Lambert, Diddy, Shakira and the Black Eyed Peas!
