Spotted: Miley Cyrus Gets Untamed In Los Angeles

Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with our intrepid correspondents. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.

Miley Cyrus' new album Can't Be Tamed hit stores today, and on Monday night (June 21), she kicked off the week celebrating the record's release with a killer concert streamed live on Cyrus stormed the stage at the House of Blues in Los Angeles for a set that featured some of the hottest new tracks from Can't Be Tamed, including the spicy title track, her cover of the Poison classic "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" and the swaggering album kick-off song "Liberty Walk." Can't Be Tamed is an interesting progression for Cyrus, as it moves away from the more mainstream pop and country-kissed rock to a more electronic world normally inhabited by the likes of Ke$ha or Fergie. Still, it's all Cyrus, and her unique voice and signature delivery carry the tunes.

Cyrus wasn't the only star shining out in public, as Green Day performed a high-profile concert in Glasgow and Jay-Z visited the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York to tape some segments for "The Late Show With David Letterman" (which will air this Friday, June 25).
