Conan O'Brien Records Album With Jack White

In preparation for a set at this weekend's Bonnaroo festival, Conan O'Brien played an intimate rock show in Nashville with Jack White at the latter's Third Man Records. A tiny crowd of 300 crammed into the space to hear O'Brien — an accomplished guitarist in his own right — and White trade licks on a series of covers, including the Band's "The Weight," Radiohead's "Creep" and the White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army."


Black Eyed Peas, Shakira Kick Off World Cup

John Legend, Black Eyed Peas, Shakira and Alicia Keys were among the many international superstars who played the kickoff concert on Thursday night (June 10) for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. In a highlight, Keys played her version of "Empire State of Mind" and subbed in the words "World Cup" for "New York."

Angelina Jolie Could Play Cleopatra In New Film

According to USA Today, producer Scott Rudin has purchased the rights to a biography of Cleopatra and is reportedly developing the project for Angelina Jolie, who would play the legendary Egyptian ruler.
