Spotted: Kid Rock Practices For Hosting Duties At The 2010 CMT Awards

Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with our intrepid correspondents. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.

People always talk about the awards season, but in reality, awards shows are forever. There always seems to be a big event featuring superstars walking a red carpet somewhere in America. Last weekend saw the celebrity-heavy MTV Movie Awards, and this coming Wednesday, June 9 will see the live broadcast of the 2010 CMT Awards. A handful of stars kicked off the preparation process on Monday when they showed up to the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee to begin running through this week's big night. Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley and Kid Rock all ran through rehearsals, with Underwood and Paisley practicing for their performances and Rock working his way through hosting duties, a first for the star. Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban and the Zac Brown Band will also perform at the show, which will air live on Thursday evening at 8 p.m. on CMT.

Rock wasn't the only star out and about, as Christina Aguilera visited "Today" in New York and the cast of MTV's "Jersey Shore" showed their support at the premiere party for "The Hard Times of RJ Berger" and "Warren the Ape" in Los Angeles. Click here for these photos as well as the entire "Spotted!" archive, which features over 350 candid shots of stars like Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, the Jonas Brothers, Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Madonna and Eminem!
