Last week, Miley Cyrus grabbed one of her back-up dancers and laid a smooch onto her during a performance on the British television series "Britain's Got Talent." It raised so many eyebrows that we immediately put together the list of the best girl-on-girl pop culture moments in recent memory, a photo gallery that included classic moments like the VMA-opening peck Madonna gave to Britney Spears and the lip-and-tongue action between Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart (as Cherie Currie and Joan Jett) in the recent rock biopic "The Runaways."
But then on Sunday night (June 6), the 2010 MTV Movie Awards delivered another moment that instantly lit up the Internet and took its immediate place on the list. Sandra Bullock took the stage at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles to accept the MTV Generation Award, which celebrated her hugely successful career. Past co-stars Bradley Cooper and Betty White joined Bullock on stage, as did Scarlett Johansson, who was there representing husband Ryan Reynolds (co-star of the 2009 hit "The Proposal"). When asked what she was doing there, Johansson explained herself and requested a kiss, and Bullock was more than happy to comply.
Johansson seemed genuinely surprised that Bullock actually grabbed her for the kiss, but it got a tremendous reaction from the crowd at the Gibson. Bullock treated it as almost a cleansing ritual. "Now that we have done that, can we please go back to normal?" she asked the audience.
