Last week, Hollywood Crush took a look at the relationship between "Twilight" stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Were they actually dating? Were they only putting on a show? The duo attended a Kings of Leon concert in Vancouver (where the pair have just begun filming the third installment of the "Twilight" series, "Eclipse") over the weekend and were spotted holding each other close like an actual couple. But the signals remain somewhat split, which is why we hit the streets to find out what the public thought.
We polled a handful of people milling about New York City's Times Square (including a handful of fans waiting to get in to today's edition of "It's On with Alexa Chung") and asked them: Are Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart really dating?
The grotesquely unscientific results are in, and it's a landslide: Over three-quarters of those asked (a healthy 76 percent) believe that the two are in fact an actual couple. The people who thought so tended to give the pair credit for strategy, saying that they are probably just trying to play it cool and keep it away from the media rather than try to live their relationship out in public. A number of those among the 24 percent who said that they didn't think Pattinson and Stewart were an item also actively rooted against such a relationship. In any event, the two will have plenty of time to figure out their situation, as they'll be stuck with each other — and also co-stars Taylor Lautner and Bryce Dallas Howard — while filming for "Eclipse" continues over the next several weeks.
