'Hannah Montana' Co-Star Cody Linley Gets 'Dancing With The Stars' Advice From Miley's Dad

Cody Linely

Miley Cyrus' "Hannah Montana" co-star Cody Linley is currently in rehearsals for his upcoming stint on "Dancing With the Stars," and although Miley hasn't offered up any advice, her dad and former "DWTS" contestant, Billy Ray, has passed on some words of wisdom.

"Yes, he gave me some pointers, actually," Linley told E! News. "I just wore a shirt he gave me a couple days ago — I had the Billy Ray dance moves!"

He added, "He's really excited for me. ... Every time I see him, he's asking about me dancing. He said I'm going to have a great time."

Much like her dad, Miley also plans to show her love for her Disney co-star. "Him and Miley [are supportive]. Miley and a bunch of my friends are going to come and support me, so I'm really, really excited about that."

But just because Miley's dad and co-star have joined the "DWTS" ranks doesn't mean the star feels inspired to follow in their footsteps. "She is very, very busy. [My dancing partner] Julianne [Hough] and Miley are probably the busiest girls I know, for sure," Linley said.

If Miley does have a change of heart about ever participating on the show, Cody is sure that the actress could be set to become a triple threat: singer, actress and dancer. "She is a good dancer," he said. The pair sometimes break out in impromptu dance sessions while on the set of their Disney Channel series. "I would always be like, 'We got to practice this,' " he recalled. "And we'd be dancing, and I'd like dip her, and she'd be like, 'OK, that's enough. I'm not Julianne, and I'm not doing that!' "

Why are we not surprised Miley can get a little sassy?
